After receiving his bank training at Dresdner Bank, Maximilian Koch went on to earn a doctorate at St. Gallen University, Switzerland. While completing his dissertation, he worked for a major Swiss bank in the Private Equity and M&A sector. At the end of 1996, Dr. Koch moved on to a GE Capital subsidiary in Brussels, Belgium.
