
David Marsh focuses on the strategic advisory work for companies with the objective of actively contributing to the sustainable development and overall increase of shareholder value. He draws on experience from a wide range of industries - including transport, technology and real estate as well as media and financial institutions.
Beforehand, he held leadership positions amongst others at the investment bank Robert Fleming and corporate finance boutique Hawkpoint. He started out with a journalistic career at Reuters and the Financial Times, becoming European editor.
Mr. Marsh is co-chairman of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum, deputy chairman of the German-British Forum, advisory board member of the Centre for European Reform, and board member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany. He was made Commander of the British Empire in 2000 and was awarded the German Order of Merit (Bundesverdienstkreuz) in 2003.
Mr. Marsh has a B.A. in Chemistry from The Queen's College Oxford and is an honorary professor at the University of Birmingham. He is a prolific commentator on economic and business issues and author of several books.
