Prior to Stern Stewart & Co. he held leadership positions amongst others at investment bank Robert Fleming and corporate finance boutique Hawkpoint. He started with a journalistic career at Reuters and the Financial Times, becoming European editor.
David Marsh is co-chairman of Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum, deputy chairman of German-British Forum, advisory board member of Centre for European Reform, and board member of British Chamber of Commerce in Germany. He was made Commander of the British Empire in 2000 and was awarded the German Order of Merit (Bundesverdienstkreuz) in 2003.
David Marsh has a B.A. in Chemistry from The Queen's College Oxford and is an honorary professor at the University of Birmingham. He is a prolific commentator on economic and business issues and author of several books.
